Resuscitation Officer

Alex qualified as a nurse in 2008. As he enjoyed nursing in acute settings, which led him to becoming a specialist respiratory nurse in 2013. This role provided him the experience dealing with critically ill patients and exposed him to advanced nursing courses that laid the foundations of his interest in education. In 2016 he began nursing as a senior staff nurse of a private surgical hospital. He was quickly promoted to manager of the day unit. He was approached to teach basic life support to GPs and soon after was asked to extend these teaching sessions to the in-house staff. He realised that he wished to pursue teaching as a career and applied to join A to E to further develop as a trainer.

Alex as a Resuscitation Officer is responsible for the delivery of BLS, ILS and BPLS courses for multiple clients nationwide.
